| May 16, 2011: Live, From Clapham! Hello and Indeed, Bonjour! I'm back... Which can only mean one thing; I've got a ton of writing to do. Marcello and I have a laptop now, so there's going to be a lot more from me here and elsewhere, and a lot more from him and the redoubtable Then Play Long, his blog on all UK Number One albums. (The 50s and 60s are done, fact fans; currently he's in the glamtastic year of '73.) And so here I am in London; in Clapham to be precise; as I write I overlook a garden, a tidy terrace of houses, the windy day obvious from the ever-moving branches of the big trees in the garden. It is lovely, though when we moved in it was rather cold and it still can be, but M and I keep each other warm, so... Things to Write: a book proposal for Zero Books about Scritti Politti, more entries at Livejournal, here, my UK Number Two Singles blog called Music Sounds Better With Two and so on. No doubt if you have written me at any time I will get back to you, no longer a slave to the clock at the internet cafe or library...sooner, much sooner now, rather than later... That is all for now - I am going to read up some of my old Scritti writing here for now, and figure out what I can do with it!
