Sorry I am late in updating here - what felt like some pain (not sharp or startling, just low-level pain) on Thursday & Friday was diagnosed on Saturday afternoon; my reproductive system needs to be looked at (well, my whole abdomen; MRI machines are pretty thorough) today before anything can be done. But besides tiredness (due to health, painkillers [not that I need that many, but they're nice to have]) I have no other symptoms and my problems are of the relatively minor kind - a cyst here, a thick lining there - as opposed to the dire worst-case-scenario the walk-in clinic doctor gave me. My blood has been tested and there's nothing wrong with it; and the folks at Mount Sinai were all nice. Indeed the worst thing was drinking two LARGE cups of water for my ultrasound, that put pressure on me you-know-where and thank goodness I was allowed to pee as soon as I was...no pain after that...
