Diaryrings

January 28, 2007: New Blog, Old Life

Snow: don't know if it's sticking, but it's there, and winter is here. Out yesterday to trudge back and forth to the grocery store, where there were supposed to be football-shaped cakes but I didn't see any. Slush, brown slop, rough snow, soft ice. I felt bad when I got back, took a Tylenol 3 and wrote. I am happy with my outline and just have to read some more and then make my case, for the book, for me. I keep finding new dimensions in it, and outside of it too, good signs. As usual when I'm playing it my mom never remembers what it is, which is also somehow cheering. (Last time she was dancing.) Much like Green, I have to go big, but be intelligent about it. Whether it's accepted or not isn't up to me; but I am going to make sure I do the best I can...so no new writing here, as I'm saving it all for my outline...

...biopsy a week ago has left no marks on me, save for a yellow bruise on my left hand and I'm still bleeding, though not much. Everyone at Mount Sinai was very nice, the food I had afterward was good (including the carrot soup my mom got for me downstairs as my throat was so rough)...so when March comes, I will be happy to have my operation there, and I think I will recover quickly enough...

...and so, I'll be out tomorrow to get a new OHIP card, out Tuesday morning to see Cal and take him to his daycare - he is now Climbing Man and is picking up language everywhere, which is a great relief to everyone...

I am going to be starting a new thing here at Diaryland soon, when it's designed and properly figured out (it's going to be a collective blog, or at least I hope it will be one) I will let you know.
