| February 12, 2007: Stapled Together As I write this, it's the afternoon of the day I was released from hospital - a day earlier than I had expected, but I don't mind...the only problem I have here is the same as there: pain and its management. I had a laparotomy, otherwise known as an incision into my abdomen directly underneath my belly button - and said cut is held together for now by staples. Coughing is painful, as is laughing, as is getting up and sitting down; I don't know for how long I will be like this (the staples are to be removed next week), but I have to keep going, no matter what. Exercise, fibre, good cheer, etc... My pitch is in; but I will keep writing about Scritti Politti and New Pop in general here, because I feel like it. Oh, and while I don't expect many valentines (except from a certain man I am engaged to...ah....), I put this here as I like it: I hope all is well with you, wherever you are!
