| May 17, 2007: Where You Least Expect It Hello, bonjour! It is sunny here, cool, but it is spring and even with Dundas & Bay being torn up, it's still pretty nice out there. I think my equilibrium is coming back. The new dosage of Provera seems to be working, which no doubt helps. I have my ultrasound booked and now am hoping for the 'big bleed' the Women's Unit want me to have (not to mention me). My longing for London is intense, despite my happiness. Things are underfoot to make it happen, I have people in London who are asking around for someone I can work for, and I'm going to do all I can here to pay for me, my things, my visa...which would be more than easy IF someone would say "sure, I'll help you out." But in any case, I am on my way; I can feel it. There are signs, little signs...after getting We Were Born In A Flame by Sam Roberts at HMV I wandered around a bit and then found myself in the Clearance section of Sam's, way in the back where no one else dares to go. Right away I found two cds I already own (By Divine Right, April March) so I kept looking, eventually finding two very different cds: The Books' Lemon of Pink and Billie Piper's Honey To The B. Billie was a surprise because I had no idea anything of hers was available here, and The Books was a shock as they are usually pretty expensive, but I guess the Sam's staff didn't care... Besides my seemingly incessant music shopping, thinking about London and so on, I don't have much to report. I am barely reading anything, and while I'm going to the Reading of Single Pages, I am not bringing much as my books are in such disarray (on shelves, in boxes) and I would much rather talk and meet people - I've been to London twice since the last Reading and it has changed me completely - I don't mind reading aloud, but (and I hope you will excuse me) I enjoy it most when I am with Marcello. He is always with me in spirit, but to see & hear his reaction is what I miss above & beyond everything... I'm going to look after Standing Man tomorrow afternoon & evening, and I am looking forward to that; Victoria Day promises to be warmish and wet, as it usually is; and I hope to get my First Aid/CPR training soon, in case anyone wants to know if I have it. The future is now...
